Point Reyes National Seashore is a premium destination any time of year for nature-lovers. Its landscape combines coastal habitats such as bluffs, sand dunes, and coastal scrub with deep forests of Douglas-fir and bishop pines, open grasslands, and several kinds of wetlands.


We'll see as many different habitats as possible during our 7-hour program. Be prepared to walk at least 4 miles in varied places throughout the day. Throughout the day we will discuss habitats, identification methods, as well as the extensive medicinal/edible uses of the plants we encounter.

The trip is limited to 12 participants, so sign up today! We encourage carpooling, and be sure to bring a lunch to enjoy on a day full of California natural beauty!
