A spring field trip with Glenn Keator

The Monterey Peninsula is a botanical wonderland with great diversity of topography, habitats, and natural plant communities. On this trip, we'll explore the restored dunes in Marina, hike into Huckleberry Preserve--home of the rare Gowen cypress, travel into the redwoods in Big Basin State Park, and explore the amazing coastlands at Pt. Lobos State Reserve. In addition to a wide variety of trees, this is the homeland of beautiful spring wildflowers.

Accommodations: Motel 6 in Marina. Price does not include accommodations or transportation.
