Experience fields of peonies at the height of their bloom at Paeonia - Sonoma County's cutting edge grower. Featured in the collection are "intersectional" or hybrid peonies which mix the magnificance of tree form with the classic old-fashioned goodness of select herbaceous varieties. California peony grower Paul Campion will host a tour of the farm and garden accompanied by tea provided by Graton's Far West Trading Company.
About Paeonia
Paeonia is a garden inspired by the tranquil aspects of the Far East and dedicated to the peony. Hidden behind a Japanese fence and gates, you will enjoy strolling the Buddha's Weeping Willow Allee and the paths between peony beds and other specialty plants. There is ample opportunity to see rare and unusual peonies unavailable in garden centers. Observing their growth habits will aid your success in determining which type you can take home to enjoy and grow in your own garden.
Paeonia is located at 190 Montgomery Road in the Sonoma County town of Sebastopol. We will meet at Paeonia at 10AM. Pre-registration for this event is required. Please call for directions or visit Map of 190 Montgomery Rd Sebastopol, CA 95472-3011, US
