Often called “The Galapagos of North America,” the California Islands are home to extraordinary biodiversity and innovative conservation science.

Join us for a three part presentation and discussion about the fantastic flora of the California Islands and the work to understand, protect, and restore this critical habitat.

  • Eamon O’Byrne – Director, California Islands Program, The Nature Conservancy
  • Denise Knapp, Ph.D. – Director of Conservation & Research, Santa Barbara Botanic Garden
  •   John Knapp – Senior Scientist, The Nature Conservancy

Free and open to the public but RSVP is requested. Sliding scale suggested donation $10-$25.
