Friday, April 13, 2018; 7:00PM-9:00PM Friday the 13th. Long considered a harbinger of trepidation and superstition, this legendary date is also regarded as a powerful occurrence— opening magical portals into other realms. Honor the mystery and lore of this unusual instance to pursue otherworldly adventures with an evening in the Garden. Discover the darker side of the plant world by scheduling a Toxic Plant Tour* to learn how plants adapt to ensure digestion or disgust. Close the night by being transported into the elegant netherworld of San Francisco based singer/pianist/storyteller, Jill Tracy, as she is your guide through a musical seance and historical tales about the sinister side of some plants. Bring your own picnic dinner, or grab a bite before the event. Please bring a flashlight and blanket to sit on for the musical seance. The event will be outside so please dress appropriately. Heavy rain will cancel. *Tours will happen between 7PM and 8PM on a first come, first served basis. |
