CANCELED: Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop (200-03112018)
Learn a modern take on a classic craft!

Sunday, March 11, 2018; 12:30PM-3:00PM

Get your retro groove on with this beginner’s macrame workshop. Macrame was huge in the 70's – but today’s macrame is far more modern.

In this workshop you’ll learn basic macrame knots and you’ll make a stylish plant hanger for your favorite leafy friend. Each person will learn how to tie basic macrame knots and how to create a structure to hold your favorite plant pot, and will create a plant hanger that fits a 4-6" pot. After making the hanger, you'll get to pot a beautiful houseplant in a glass vase, which will sit perfectly in your new hanger. You'll also get a handout with photos, so you can turn macrame into your new favorite hobby!
