Volunteer for the Environment! (200-122017)

Saturday, February 10, 2018; 10:00AM-2:00PM

Join thousands of fellow Bay Area residents by volunteering for one (or more!) of the many organizations dedicated to maintaining, restoring, conserving, preserving, experiencing, appreciating, and better understanding the environment and local natural spaces.

If you are motivated to be a part of meaningful change, to make friends, or just to spend more time outside, join us on February 10, 2018. You can learn how to get involved by talking to staff and volunteers of more than 20 local environmentally focused organizations.

Opportunities include hands-on gardening, trail and habitat restoration, docents and guides, teen programs, special events needs, administrative positions, long-term commitments, and more. Bring a friend and check it out!

Participating organizations include:

  • Bay Area Ridge Trail Council
  • Bay Ecoterium/ Aquarium of the Bay
  • California Native Plant Society
  • Citizens Climate Lobby
