Saturday July 20, 7-9PM
Join Atlas Obscura and the San Francisco Botanical Garden as we uncover the secrets behind the 12th Century Medieval Monastery stones scattered throughout the San Francisco Botanical Garden.
Find out why Randolph Hearst dismantled and shipped an entire Medieval Monastery from Spain only for it to be scattered throughout Golden Gate Park. We will meet as dusk approaches, surrounded by looming moss-covered stone relics, in the library terrace. Each team will receive a list of clues and an hour and half to find the matching stones scattered throughout the Garden. After time is called we will gather to share cocktails and prizes.
Check-in at 6:30PM; the adventure begins at 7PM.
