Native Plant Basket Weaving Workshop Series II (200-511)
Tule Twined Basket

Saturday May 11, 9:30-3:30

Each participant will make a lightwiehgt basket using several different weaves , suitable for gathering berries or holding small fruits. It may be finished with a cordage handle. Tule baskets were very commonly made in mnay parts of California, Oregon, and Nevada, with varying "starts". weaves and rim finishes.

 

This is part II of a two part basket weaving series combinging basket weaving techniques and construction. The classes don't have to be taken consecutively, but look for the special price on purchasing the classes together.
