Landscaping with Grasses: A Winning Strategy for Your Garden (212-1052)
With Bob Hornback, Grassologist

Saturday, September 22nd -10am – 1pm

LANDSCAPING WITH GRASSES:
A WINNING STRATEGY FOR YOUR
GARDEN!

Scant winter rainfall has left Northern California dangerously dry. Water is scarcer and more expensive than ever. So, what's a gardener to do? Persevere, of course! If you're searching for plants with good drought-tolerance, good looks and easy maintenance, here's the class for you. Grassologist Bob Hornback will present his best selections of grasses and grasslike plants, all hand-picked for their durability and great appearance. And all of them are easy to grow! Bob will be showing you the right plants to use for color and form, for containers, for native gardens and for low-care meadows. He'll also make suggestions for your own garden situations. Many of the plants on display for this class will be available for purchase, so plan to take home some of your favorites.
