HOW TO GRAFT ROSES - with Tom Liggett, Rose Grafting Expert (212-762)

Saturday, June 23rd - 10:00am - 12:30pm

Tom Liggett is founder of the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden and for many years was the horticultural advisor for the Oakland Morcom Rose Garden. He has been a professional nurseryman for almost 40 years.

Tom has developed a suite of propagation modalities called the Liggett method, which he uses on varying plant species and under a variety of growing conditions. In this special Rose Grafting Workshop, Tom shares the concepts behind his methods. He will demonstrate how to make various kinds of rose cuttings and give a hands-on demonstration of how to make your own copies of non-patented roses.
