Join Thomas Wang, local ethnobotanist and horticulture teacher, will share knowledge about plants used in Chinese culture for food and medicine. His presentation will include a walkabout of our collection of Asian plants in the Garden, the practice of Chinese calligraphy and a field trip to nearby Chinese markets.

Our journey of discovery will start with traditional Chinese snacks and teas.
