URBAN EGGS: Raising Chickens and Ducks in the City--- with Paul Glowaski of Dinner Bell Farm in Grass Valley (214-382)

Sunday, March 4 10:00am - 1:30pm

Join us for a comprehensive look at backyard chicken and duck raising in an urban environment. We will look at all facets of this time-honored tradition which has seen a resurgence over the past few years.

Participants will leave with a basic understanding of what it takes to be successful (and legal) before they have birds in their backyard.

This includes all steps, from raising your
own chicks, shelter and coop design, feed and water requirements, disease, pest and predator information.

Newcomers and seasoned vets alike will benefit from this class.
