Join us in Celebration of the Season of Autumn at the SF Botanical Gardens
With Georgann Cunney, SF Herbalist!
Sunday, October 23, - 11:00AM – 1:30PM
Taste & enjoy a selection of lovely teas, accompanied by hand-made savory and sweet 'tea cakes', nuts and fruit, all locally-grown and simply-prepared, representing the freshness & beauty of the plants, flowers & food we are blessed with by the Earth at this time of year.
In the Garden of Fragrance, plants with aromatic foliage—salvia, rosemary, lemon verbena, lavender and Grecian laurel-along with many more, grow in crescent-shaped beds built of stones from a 12th century Spanish monastery. As we sit at cloth-covered tables sipping tea out of charming china cups and saucers, we'll discuss & explore the energy, flavor, and fragrance, as well as, lore, magical properties, and healing of the herbs in our tea menu symbolic to the Fall Season.
($5.00 additional fee per person for food supplies.)
