Herbs for Health and Happiness in the Summertime (212-3071)

Saturday, June 25, 9:30 to 12 noon

$10 for materials on the day of the class

Summertime is when the light and energy of the Sun is at its peak. Nature, in all its many forms is busy manifesting and unfolding; the days are long and warm and the beautiful starry nights are short.

In this workshop we will discuss and explore about a dozen summer herbs with focus with on the heart, on stress and on outside activities:
* Medicinal value
* Lore & symbolic meaning
* How to use and prepare for health, healing & celebrating
* How herbs can benefit your garden, how to grow them and what to plant at this time of year.

We will make herbal preparations to support wholeness, both physically and emotionally, and keep us in accord with the energy and healing that nature provides at this time of year: Herbal infusions,decoctions, tinctures, oils, lotions, potions, bathing and in culinary creations
