Aromatic First Aid with Garden Plants (207-140)
with Jeanne Rose, director of the Institute of Aromatic and Herbal Studies

Sat, Jun 18, 10:00am--1:00pm

Join Jeanne Rose, director and primary instructor of Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies, for a First Aid lesson with Garden Plants in the San Francisco Botanical Garden. We will meet first at the Garden's Main Gate of the garden, in front of the Bookstore for a "First Aid Trees & Plant Walk." Jeanne will later discuss what we have learned from our walk. In a world of commercial remedies, it is easy to forget that the cultures of the world have amassed knowledge of the medicinal uses of plants for millennia. Indeed today, many plants commonly found in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the wild have practical health applications. Join Jeanne Rose, author of many books and teacher, for a walking First Aid lesson in the San Francisco Botanical Garden.
