In the darkest time of the year, when Nature's energy is at its still point, the nights are long and the days are short, there is less light, and its cold…Now, lets talk Herb Remedies!

In this class we will experience the presence, beauty & energy of herbs that can keep us in accord with healing that comes with the seasonal energy of this time of year. We will discuss herbs that support and provide warmth; protect against colds and flues, and herbs that ward off the gloom that can come from less light. Also, we will discuss what herbs promote peaceful rest and healing dreams.
We will in the class, PREPARE herbal teas and food to taste and enjoy, MAKE healing salves and other healing concoctions…for promoting wellness, keeping joy in our hearts, and FOR celebrate the returning light of Nature!

We will explore about a dozen herbs with:

Medicinal value
Lore & symbolic meaning
How to use and prepare for health, healing & celebrating
How to grow herbs in your garden and what to plant

The Season of darkness is a time for keeping connected to the spirit of joy and light inside our hearts and through all of Nature.
