Gardening with Grasses (212-3060)
with Bob Hornback

Workshop: Saturday, April 23, 9:30am - 1:00pm Field Trip: Sunday, April 24, 10am - 2pm

Grassologist Bob Hornback will make a special presentation of ornamental grasses for the spring garden. He'll be highlighting varieties that are particularly attractive at this time of year, including his top picks for growing in containers, for developing native and drought-tolerant plantings, and for use as turf alternatives. Bob's popular "grasses classes" always provide an enjoyable and entertaining way to discover how these easily-grown plants can add color, texture and drama to your own landscapes.

This enlightening program also includes a field trip to Matanzas Creek Winery in Santa Rosa!
