Join Thomas Wang - local ethnobotanist and horticulture teacher and Dolores Gamez – SF Botanical Garden gardener - as they share botanical stories from Taiwan and southern China.  They will discuss the relationship between people and the plants of the cities, farms, gardens, and natural areas.  The presentation will include calligraphy and painting, a walkabout in the garden's Asian temperate collection, and a field trip to nearby Chinese food and medicine stores.
