Picture the Enduring Garden (213-183)
with Saxon Holt and Lucy Tolmach

Thu, Sep 23, 6:30pm--9:00pm

Join Saxon Holt, Photography Program Director and renowned garden photographer, and special guest Lucy Tolmach, Director of Horticulture at Filoli Gardens for an evening lecture entitled "Picture the Enduring Garden."

This is the first lecture in our new Master Photography Program. The Program will feature leading landscape designers discussing how they must visualize garden aesthetics before embarking upon a specific design.

Once we understand the intentions that a designer must consider, Saxon will discuss how he 'visualizes' the garden in order to capture beautiful evocative photographs.  Listen as he details the process he employs to master garden photography.

This is a can't miss session for gardeners, designers and aspiring photographers alike.  Learn from the experts as they take you from conception through to beautiful images of gardens.

The lecture is a prerequisite for the upcoming all-day Master Photography Workshop.
