with Charles Garcia

Sun, May 16, 11:00am--12:30pm

JOIN US FOR A FIRST AID WALK IN THE GARDEN!

In a world of pharmaceuticals, it is easy to forget that the cultures of the world have amassed knowledge of the medicinal uses of plants for milennia. Indeed today, many plants commonly found in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the wild have practical health applications. Join Charles Garcia, director and primary instructor of the California School of Traditional Hispanic Herbalism, for a walking First Aid lesson in the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Meet at the Garden's Main Gate, in front of the Bookstore.
