Come hear Ernest speak on his fascinating life and involvement in California's rich horticultural history. Ernest will discuss his contributions to the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society, the Saratoga Horticultural Research Foundation, the nursery industry and garden centers he has designed in the US and abroad. He will also touch on his personal and professional relationships with influential individuals such as Victor Reiter, Eric Walter, Elizabeth McClintock, Owen Pearce, Bill Schmidt and many others. His lecture will guarantee an interesting insight on Californian history.
