Saturday, March 27th 9:00am — 12:30pm

Follow Michelle Obama's lead and join us for a one-day class about planning, planting and maintaining your own Victory Garden here in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Learn about the history of Victory Gardens and urban gardening, building and maintaining soil health, the physical construction of garden beds, as well as the production of select veggies and fruits from start to finish.  Presented by Dr. Don Mahoney, this class will provide a great start for beginners and a continued dialogue for seasoned veggie growers.
