Beginning Watercolor Techniques A (213-138)
with Mary Harden

Eight Fridays: July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 23, 28. 10am – 1pm

Using a specially developed "Naturalist's Palette", we will learn and practice basic watercolor techniques such as color mixing for organics, texturing, glazing and superimposing. Building upon our pencil and pen drawing skills, we will add rich, luminous color to create accurate and precise studies of plants from the Garden. We will explore a variety of watercolor tools and materials while continuing to develop our skills for accuracy and beauty.

Drawing experience necessary.

$10 materials fee payable to instructor on first day of class.
