Wild Birds of San Francisco: Spring Migrations (262-410)

First meeting: Sat, May 9, 10am at SFBG
3-Hour Field Trips: Sat, May 16 and Sat, May 23
Lectures : Wed, May 13 and Mon, May 18, 7-9pm

Learn about San Francisco's spring birds as you see them with your own eyes, exploring their habitats and habits. During lectures, we'll talk about both migrant and resident birds, discussing bonding, nesting and parenting behaviors. We'll have opportunities to see waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds and songbirds in breeding plumages as they pass through in migration or set up for the local nesting season. Don't miss this superb birding opportunity.

Program includes an initial meeting at SFBG, two field trips and two lectures.

Co-sponsored by San Francisco Botanical Garden Society and Golden Gate Audubon Society.
