Gardening with Succulents (212-980)

Sat, Jan 31, 9:00am--1:00pm

A workshop with Ernesto Sandoval
Ernesto Sandoval wants you to know that you can grow succulents in your garden. The curator of the UC Davis Greenhouse will present his case using quality photographs and live specimens in a four-hour workshop at SFBG. The focus will be on aloes, agaves, cacti, and other beautiful and practical succulents, but Ernesto will also discuss some less common drought-tolerant plants. Some of the plants will be for sale; proceeds will benefit the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory.
