Wild Birds of San Francisco (262-400)

Two Thursday Evenings – Jan 22 and 29, 2009 Three Saturday field trips, January 17, 24 and 31. The first meeting will be at the main entrance to the Botanical Garden at 9 AM on January 17.

Join an enthusiastic group for an introduction to many of the amazing wild birds that inhabit the San Francisco Bay Area in winter. Led by Eddie Bartley of Nature Trip (naturetrip.com) and co-sponsored by SFBG and the Golden Gate Audubon Society, the program will consist of field explorations of local bird habitats, as well as indoor presentations featuring colorful bird imagery, information on optics and field guides, ID techniques and more.
