Hot Chocolate - Popular Holiday Treats from Scharffen Berger a delectable talk & tasting experience (212-421)

Wed, Dec 10, 6:30pm--8:30pm

Theobroma cacao or "Food of the Gods" is the botanical source of one of the worlds most indulgent pleasures: chocolate. Enjoyed in all its forms, varietal chocolate sourced from organic farms in specific areas throughout the tropics has come into its own in recent years. We will learn how to distinguish between varieties of cocoa beans and taste the range of products made from them. Specifically, we will taste and learn to blend and prepare drinking chocolate. Join Brad Kintzer from Sharffen Berger Chocolate for this hands-on, taste-as-you-learn class. Back by popular demand and just in time for the holidays.
