Extending our popular card making class to eight weeks, we will concentrate on the foliage and winter berries of holly, cotoneaster, toyon, and other species found in the San Francisco Botanical Garden. We will explore the design elements of circles, boughs and clusters, creating beautiful botanicals with pen, ink wash, watercolor, and pencil. We will reproduce our studies in a series of cards, while learning cropping and layout techniques for design impact. To finish, we will construct festive enclosures, which can be adapted to any season or purpose.

All levels welcome, but basic drawing skills recommended.

$10 materials fee payable to instructor on the first day of class.
