First Aid Plant Walk (207-120)

Sun, Apr 13, 11:00am--12:30pm

No one should deal with medical emergencies without an up to date first aid kit and some basic knowledge of first aid. Unfortunately individuals are often thrust into situations where both a kit and knowledge are sadly lacking. This informative presentation and walk will not alleviate the need for life saving gear, but it can enhance chances of survival if you do not have it. Traditional herbalist Charles Garcia will show us how plants commonly found in the kitchen and garden, as well as those found in the outdoors can be combined with common sense first aid skills.

Meet at the Main Gate, in front of the Garden Bookstore.
