Hellebores - Playing Cupid with the Gene Pool (203-230)

Mon, Aug 20, 7:00pm

Join expert plant breeder Charles Price, of the award winning garden design team Withey and Price, for an evening lecture about the colorful progress being made in the hybridization of Hellebores. Price will share how his exploration into the gene pool of these versatile garden favorites has vastly improved the color-range of the flowers, which now extends from slate grey, near-black, deep purple and plum, through rich red and pinks to yellow, white and green.
