Photographer Brad Polt-Jones of Future Light Digital Workshops will teach students how to capture and edit stunning botanical photographs using digital photography.
Open to students at all levels using their own digital camera.
This five-class series will review basic camera functions and focus on techniques for using your equipment to create the best garden photographs possible.
After a review of basic camera functions and controls, including aperture, shutter speed and ISO, we'll concentrate on getting the most from your digital camera, including choosing file formats and specialized settings such as white balance.
Working with macro lenses and settings, studying depth of field and composition.
Explore dynamic lighting techniques including use of portable strobes
Wide angle and panoramic photography. Building a composite composition from several different photographs.
