|||||||||||
Tue, Oct 2, 1:00pm--3:30pm There are over 5000 species of plants growing in the Gardens of SFBG. In this bundled two-part class, students spend the morning with J. Charmain Giuliani (course 213-161) looking at some of the more unusual plants in this collection. Charmain will guide you through the gardens focusing on thorns, hooks, petal-less flowers and bizarre fruits! Learn about theories and histories behind plant adaptations and characteristics. Even find out how you can grow them in your own garden.
