Introduction to Herbal Medicine (212-414)

Join herbalist Joshua Muscat to learn the basics of how plants are used as medicine. This three-hour workshop will introduce the students to ten of most useful herbs from the wild, the garden, and at the pharmacy. Focus will be put on learning the principles behind how these plants are used safely and effectively. There will also be a hands on herbal medicine making session. You will leave with a solid understanding of the use of plants as medicine and your own hand crafted herbal tincture, tea or salve.
