See what our judges think are the “best of the best” when it comes to container plantings. Submissions will be judged the night before the show, April 19, at our Members-only event. Containers will be judged on artistic merit, environmental sensitivity, and original use of materials. Winning submissions will be displayed in the San Francisco Botanical Garden Library Courtyard from April 20 through April 22. If you are interested in submitting your own container to be judged in our show, please call 415.661.1316 ext 354 and we will send you an application.

The five categories are: California native plants, plants for the sun, plants for the shade, succulent gardens, and butterfly habitat gardens.

The winning entry in each category will be awarded a $25 Sloat Garden Center Gift Certificate. "Best in Show" entry wins a $100 Sloat Garden Center Gift Certificate.
